Q1 – When should I use stainless steel ?

A1 - Stainless steel can be used in almost any application where carbon steel are used.  However due to the commercial considerations, stainless steel is typically used in areas where increased corrosion resistance or high levels of hygiene are required.

Q2 – Does Lasnek manufacture any products in material other than stainless steel ?

A2 –To prevent cross contamination of manufactured product Lasnek only produce stainless steel systems

Q3 – In what grades of stainless steel do you manufacture?

A3 – 304 as standard with the option of 316 – contact us for further specific information regarding individual product ranges

Q4 – Does Lasnek export?

A4 – Yes Lasnek has experience in exporting to all major markets

Q5 – When can I expect my goods?

A5 – Stocked items unless otherwise instructed are despatched on a same day basis for account holders

Q6 – I don’t have an account – can I still purchase?

A6 – Yes – for those customers where stainless steel is an infrequent purchase we offer the facility to purchase by Mastercard or Visa

Q7 – Can I collect my goods?

A7 – Goods can be collected from our Luton facility by prior arrangement

Q8 – How will my order be delivered?

A8 – Orders will be despatched TNT next day ( exclusions applicable ) or pallet service

Q9 – Can my order be shipped directly to a third party address?

A9 – For most UK mainland orders it should be possible on the provision of additional delivery information

Q10 – I have over ordered - can I return?

A10 – Pleae contact our Sales Team to discuss any return requirements.  Our Sales Team will advise if your returns meet with our Returns Policy, and a Returns Note Number will be issued accordingly.

Q11 - Will Lasnek collect the goods I wish to return?

A11 - Yourselves will be responsible for the return carriage of any agreed returns.  Goods must be received back by Lasnek in a re-saleable condition.

Q12 - Is there a handling fee for returns?

A12 - Yes, a 25% handling / re-stocking fee will be applied to any credit issued.

Q13 - Incorrect goods received - can I have a credit?

A13 - Please contact our Sales Team to advise any discrepancies within 3 days of receipt of delivery.  Lasnek will arrange for the incorrect item(s) to be collected and returned to Lansek, and a credit note will be issued accordingly.
